The second annual Easter Egg Hunt in downtown Coos Bay sponsored by the Egyptian Theatre and the Coos Bay Downtown Association was a huge success.  50 Easter Egg hunters visited several businesses in the downtown Coos Bay they discovered using clues to the  “The Easter Basket” provided by the Egyptian Theatre via their Facebook page. Each day during Spring Break a new location was posted in the morning.  These little hunters arrived at The World seeking treats Tuesday, March 22.

The Coos Bay Downtown Association would like to issue a big “thank you” to Vintage 101, The World Newspaper, Art of Life, Coos Art Museum, Remember When Toys and The Pottery Company who hosted the traveling Easter Basket during Spring Break (March 21st-25th) as well as the Sizzler Restaurant for donating over 100 eggs to the basket that had goodies and great dining coupons.  Also, a special thanks to Kara Long at the Egyptian Theatre for posting the daily clues on the Egyptian Theatre’s Facebook page and donating Easter Eggs to the basket.
