2019 Farmers Market Season Begins in May
Join the Coos Bay Downtown Association on May 1st, as we kick off the 2019 season for the Coos Bay Farmers Market. The Market is located on Central Avenue between 101 south and 3rd street in downtown Coos Bay, operating between 9am to 2pm every Wednesday, from May through October. This popular event brings high-quality, Oregon-produced items to the downtown district. Vendors offer a variety of Items that include locally grown produce, eggs, honey, meat, baked goods, roasted coffee, flowers, handmade craft items, jewelry, ready-to-eat food, and more.
With a goal of “farm fresh for every fork,” the market accepts SNAP-EBT and WIC benefits, and several vendors also accept Senior Farm Direct Nutrition vouchers. Tokens can be received at the market information booth located on Central Avenue next door to Jennie’s Shoes.
We are pleased to announce that the Farmers Market will be sponsored by Jennie’s Shoes, Wildflour Catering and the Coos Head Food Coop.
This year, our CBDA member and partner, So It Goes Coffeehouse, will be sponsoring the Coos Bay Farmers Market Music Series during the Farmers Market. Each week the series will bring a variety of lively music and entertainment from bands and performers.
Show your love and support for the Coos Bay Farmers Market, and Downtown Coos Bay, by purchasing a branded tote bag at the first market.
